হ্যাঁ, বইটি খুব ভালো, এটা থেকে পড়লে খুব সহজেই শব্দ মনে রাখা যায়,তবে উদাহরণ হিসেবে প্রতি পাতায় যে বাক্য আছে তার মধ্যেও কিছু শব্দের অর্থ দেয়া থাকলে ভালো হতো।

বইটিতে বেশি vocabulary নেই। এই বিষয়টা আমার খুবই খারাপ লেগেছে। এই বইটির content অনুযায়ী দামটাও খুব বেশি। ভর্তি পরীক্ষার সময় কাজে লাগে এমন ভালো বা বেশি কিছু শব্দ নেই। বরং এর চেয়ে সাইফুর রহমানের লেখা Saifurs Student Vocabulary book টি চমৎকার। এই বইটির content planning and distribution চোখে পড়ার মতো। তাই এই বই কিনে টাকা খরচ না করে Saifurs Student Vocabulary book টি কেনা উচিত।

বাক্যগুলো আমেরিকান ধাঁচের লেখা হলেও শব্দগুলো ব্রিটিশ ও আমেরিকান সংমিশ্রণ হয়ে গেছে , যেগুলো অ্যামেরিকানরা কখনো ব্যবহার করেনা যেমন footpath , motorway, queue আবার লেখিকা কিছু আমেরিকান শব্দ ব্যবহার করেছেন যা ব্রিটিশরা কখনো ব্যবহার করেনা যেমন ladies room, escalator , mall আশাকরি পরবর্তী সংস্করণে এদিকগুলো বিবেচনা করবেন ।

১. Vocabulary শেখার জন্য অন্যতম একটা বই। এতো সুন্দর করে সব কিছু সাজিয়ে লেখা আর চিত্র দেওয়া হয়েছে যে ছোট থেকে বড় সবাই খুব সহজেই আয়ত্ত করতে পারবে। ২. যারা ইংরেজি সম্পর্কে দখল আনতে চান ছোট বড় যেই হোক সকলের এই বইটি পড়ার টেবিলে থাকা দরকার। ৩. বইটি পড়তে একদম ক্লান্ত লাগে না বা বোরিং লাগে না। অনেক সহজ ভাষায় লেখা যার কারণে বইটি আমার অনেক প্রিয়।

আমি ১০ম শ্রেণীর ছাত্র 'ঘরে বসে Spoken English' বইটা থেকে আশা করি অনেক কিছু শিখতে পারবো এবং পড়েও দেখলাম মাথায়ও ঢুকতাছে পাড়াগুলো কিন্তু 'সবার জন্য Vocabulary' এই বইটা পড়ে আমি কিছু বুঝতে পারছি না... শিখবো কিভাবে ? শেখারও ইচ্ছে আছে কিন্তু এই বইয়ের তো আমি কিছুই বুঝতে পারছিনা । আপুর প্রথম বইটা অনেক সহজভাবে কিন্তু এই বইটা বোঝা আমার জন্য কষ্টকর হয় যাচ্ছে ।

এই বইটি হলো আমার জন্য একটি দোয়ার মতন। কারন আমি ভোকাবুলারি বুঝতেই পারতাম না। কিন্তু এই বইটি পড়ে আমি নিজে নিজেই সবকিছু সুন্দর করে বলতে পারছি। শুধু তাই নয় এই বইয়ের লেখার ভাষা আমার বেশ পছন্দ। অত্যন্ত সহজভাবে সবকিছু ব্যাখা করা আছে।

"সবার জন্য Vocabulary" মুনজেরিন শহীদের লেখা অসাধারণ একটি বই। ছোট-বড় সব বয়সের মানুষের ইংরেজি শব্দ শেখার জন্য একটি আদর্শ বই হতে পারে এটি। আমার নিজের স্পোকেন ইংলিশ এর দক্ষতা বাড়ানোর জন্য অনেকদিন ধরে ভোকাবুলারির বই খুজছিলাম। বিভিন্ন বই ট্রাই করেছিলাম কিন্তু কোনটাই অতটা কার্যকরী ছিল না। অবশেষে যখন "সবার জন্য Vocabulary" বইটি হাতে পাই তখন বুঝলাম এটাই আমার জন্য পার্ফেক্ট। আপনি স্কুল, কলেজ কিংবা ভার্সিটি যেখানেই পড়ালেখা করুন না কেন আপনার ইংরেজি দক্ষতা বাড়ানোর জন্য এই বইটি হতে পারে একটি অন্যতম রিসোর্স। দৈনন্দিন জীবনের প্রয়োজনীয় শব্দগুলো, যেগুলো আমরা অহরহ ব্যবহার করে থাকি, তা খুব সুন্দর ভাবে টপিক অনুসারে বইটিতে দেওয়া আছে যা আপনার শিক্ষাকে করে তুলবে প্রাণবন্ত। বইটির ৮৬ টি ক্লাসের সবগুলো মনোযোগ সহকারে অনুশীলন করলে আপনার ইংরেজি দক্ষতা এক অন্য উচ্চতায় উঠে যাবে।

আমি ইংরেজিতে দূর্বল অনেক, আপুর ভিডিও ফেসবুকে একদিন দেখি ৫মিনিটের ভিডিও ছিলো। তারপর তার ইংরেজি বলার প্রতি একটা আকর্ষন আসলো। আর তার ভিডিও দেখিনি, ব্যস্ততার জন্য উপেক্ষা করে যেতাম। কিছুদিন আগে তাহসান খান এর একটা বই অর্ডার করতে আপুর দুইটা বই আমার চোখে পড়লো, অমনি অর্ডার করলাম। রংপুর থেকে অর্ডার করেছি, বই টি অল্প দামে মানসম্মত ছিলো। আশাকরি এটা পড়াতে ইংরেজি অনেকটা ঠিক হবে। সবাই আমার জন্য দোয়া করবেন।

প্রথমত আমি নিজে ব্যক্তিগতভাবে ইংরেজি শব্দার্থ মনে রাখতে পারতাম না। অনেক চেষ্টা করেও তা সম্ভব হচ্ছিলো না । আসলে বসে বসে একগাদা ইংরেজি শব্দার্থ মনে রাখা যেমন কষ্টকর তেমন তা ভুলে যাওয়ার সম্ভাবনাও বেশি । কিন্তু যখন "সবার জন্য Vocabulary" বইটি বাজারে আসলো তখন তা পড়ে দেখলাম যে বইটির উপস্থাপনা সম্পূর্ণই ভিন্ন। মনে রাখার সবচেয়ে সহজ পদ্ধতি হলো চিত্র দেখে দেখে শব্দার্থ পড়া । এই বইটিতে ঠিক একই পদ্ধতি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। এতে করে আমি খুব সহজেই Vocabulary শিখতে পারছি এবং তা সহজেই মনে রাখতে পারছি।

আমরা অনেকে এজন্য ভোকাবুলারি শিখা শুরু করিনা, কারণ এটা মুখস্থ করতে হয় আর মুখস্থ মানেই এখন পড়ো, আবার একটু পরে ভুলে যাও। এটা আমাদের সবচেয়ে বড়ো একটা অজুহাত, আমিও এর ব্যতিক্রম নই। হঠাৎ একদিন “সবার জন্য Vocabulary" বইটা সম্পর্কে জানতে পারি এবং শুনলাম যে ভোকাবুলারি না কি আর মুখস্থ করতে হবে না! আমার তো পুরো আক্কেলগুড়ুঁম অবস্থা! আমি বইটি না পড়লে সত্যিই বিশ্বাস করতাম না, কথাটা। আসলেই মুখস্থ ছাড়া ভোকাবুলারি শেখা যায়! :D ধন্যবাদ, যিনি বইটি লিখেছেন তাকে! :3

I'm so glad that I found this book. I love to write but I cannot express myself properly sometimes as my vocabulary is too poor. In this book by Munzereen Shahid , she has not just familiarized me with new and fun words but also taught me how to remember them so that I do not forget it in the future

দীর্ঘকাল থেকেই আমার ইংরেজি নিয়ে সমস্যা ছিল। আমি এটি বুঝতে পারি তবে কথা বলতে সমস্যা হয়তো। তারপরে একদিন আমার মামাতো ভাই আমাকে এই বইটি দিলো। প্রথমে আমি ভেবেছিলাম এটির কোনও লাভ হবে না তবে আমি যখন পড়া শুরু করি তখন অবাক হয়ে গেলাম। কেবল উচ্চারণই নয়, এটি আমাকে নির্দিষ্ট পরিস্থিতিতে কীভাবে কথা বলতে হয় তাও শিখিয়েছে। যাদের ইংরেজিতে কথা বলতে সমস্যা হয় তাদের জন্য আমি এই বইটি সুপারিশ করব

আমরা যখন ইংরেজিতে কারো সাথে কথা বলতে যাই,সবার আগেই আমরা Vocabulary নিয়ে ভাবতে থাকি।কারণ আমাদের চারপাশে হাজার হাজার শব্দ।তার আবার হাজার হাজার অর্থ।এত শব্দ মনে রাখা খুব কষ্টদায়ক। কিন্তু আমাদের সবার কষ্ট দূর করতে মুনজেরিন আপুর বই এসে গেছে "সবার জন্য Vocabulary" বইটি।আশা করি বইটি পড়ে লাখ লাখ মানুষ উপকৃত হবে।

'' সবার জন্য VOCABULARY '' বইটি আসলেই সবার জন্য। এই বইটি পড়ে নতুন নতুন শব্দ জানার সাথে সাথে আমি বুঝতে পেড়েছি, ইংরেজিতে আমার কথা বলার SMARTNESS বাড়াতে কখন, কোন শব্দটি বেশি উপযোগী। খুব সহজেই এই বইটি পড়ে আমি নিজের ইংরেজি শব্দভাণ্ডারকে আরও শক্তিশালী করতে পেরেছি।

I teach students at my home and one of them is pretty poor at English vocabulary and grammar. The school books are okay but they do not cover topics from the beginner level. I was quite tensed about this issue when one of friends suggested me to try out this book by Munzereen Shahid. The book points out the pronunciation in an explicit way. I did not even have to make my student understand what it said. He was able of reading it by himself after a few lessons.

অনলাইনে যখন প্রাইভেট শুরু করলাম তখন সুধু পরিচিতদের সাথেই নয় বরং অনেক অপরিচিতদের সাথেও প্রাইভেট পরতে হয়েছিল। তখন প্রাইভেট এ যখন আমাকে ইংরেজীতে ইন্ট্র দিতে বলা হত তখন ইন্ট্র তো দুরের কথা ইংরেজীতে ভালভাবে কথায় বলতে পারতাম না । কিন্তু মুনজারিন আপুর এই বই ও কোর্স করার পর আমি খুব ভালোভাবেই ইংরেজীতে কথা বলতে পারি

অনেক জায়গায় চাকরির জন্য গেলেও চাকরি হত না আমার। কেন হত না তা বুঝতাম না । একবার সাহস করে এক লোককে জিজ্ঞাসাই করলাম যে কেন আমাকে তারা চাকরি তে নিচ্ছে না। পড়ে জানতে পারলাম আমি যখন ইংরেজীতে তাদের ইন্ট্র দিতাম সেটি সঠিক হত না। তখন এক বড় ভাই এর কাছে মুনজারিন আপুর বই সম্পর্কে জানতে পারলাম ও দেরি না করে কিনে ফেললাম। আর এখন আমি একটি ভালো জায়গায় চাকরি করছি

স্পোকেন ইংলিশ প্র্যাক্টিস করার জন্য আমি চেষ্টা করি যাই বলছি বা পড়ছি সেটার ইংলিশ ট্রান্সলেট করার। একটা জিনিস খেয়াল করলাম যে, সব এ ঠিক আছে কিন্তু শব্দগুলো কেমন যেন একই রকম থেকে যাচ্ছে। ভিন্নতা নেই। বুঝতে পারলাম ভোকাব নলেজটা ঠিক করতে হবে। বই টিতে প্রত্যেকটা জিনিস টপিক ওয়াইয সাজানো থাকায় শিখাটা খুব সহজ মনে হচ্ছে।

ফ্রন্টপেজে এরকম ছবি না দিলে ভালো হতো। তাছাড়া এই বইটা হচ্ছে একদম বিগিনার লেভেলের। যারা ইংরেজিতে মুটামুটি ভালো, তাদের জন্য না। ভেবেছিলাম কাজে আসবে, তবে তেমন কিছু না(বাচ্চাদের জন্য পারফেক্ট)

প্রথমত ইংরেজি কে কোন সাবজেক্ট হিসেবে না ভেবে ভাষা হিসেবে ভাবলেই আমরা দ্রুত এটি ধারণ করতে পারব(এটা আমার ব্যক্তিগত মতামত তাই অনেকেই এ বিষয়ে দ্বিমত পোষণ করতে পারে)। আর কোন ভাষা শিখতে হলে বা জানতে হলে সে ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত শব্দের উপর দক্ষতা থাকা আবশ্যক। বইটিতে ছবির মাধ্যমে শব্দগুলো শেখানো হয়েছে যা মনে রাখা ও ব্যবহারের জন্য খুবই কার্যকর। বইটিকে ৩ লেভেল (ইজি, মিডিয়াম, হার্ড) অনুযায়ী ৮৬ চ্যাপ্টারকে ভাগ করা হয়েছে । স্থানকাল ভেদে বিভিন্ন পরিস্থিতি অনুযায়ী দৈনন্দিন জীবনে শব্দের ব্যবহারের শেখানো হয়েছে। পরিশেষে একটি কথা না বললেই নয় বইটি যদিও বিগিনার জন্য ভালো কিন্তু অ্যাডভান্স এর জন্য নয়।

একবার গিয়েছিলাম এক আত্মীয় এর অনুষ্ঠানে। সেখানে দেখলাম প্রায় সব ছেলে মেয়েই তাদের কথায় অনেক ইংরেজি শব্দ ব্যবহার করছে কিন্তু আমি অনেক কিছুই বুঝতেছিলাম না। তখন মনে মনে ঠিক করে নিলাম যে এবার ইংরেজী টা না শিখলেই নয়। তখন মুনযারিন আপুর ১০মিনিট স্কুল বইটা কিনে ফেললাম । এখন আমি ইংরেজীতে কথা বলে অনেক কেই চমকিয়ে দিতে পারি অনেক কঠিন শব্দ অনেক সহজভাবে ব্যবহার করে

ইংলিশে with clue and without clue পূরণ করার সময় দেওয়া থাকলেও অনেক শব্দের অর্থ জানতে না পারায় অনেক সমস্যা হতো উত্তর দিতে অনেক সময় এই দুই থেকে তিনটা ফাঁকা ঘর পূরণ করতে পারতাম না তখন এক বন্ধুর কাছে মুনজারিন আপুর এই বইটি কথা জানতে পারলাম দেরি না করে সাথে সাথে কিনে ফেললাম আর এখন আমার ধারণা থেকেও অনেক বেশি উপকৃত হচ্ছি এই বইটি পড়ার মাধ্যমে ধন্যবাদ মুনজারিন আপুকে

বর্তমান যুগ হচ্ছে ইন্টারনেট এর যুগ আর ফেচবুক এর যুগ। আগে যখন বন্ধুরা ম্যাসাঞ্জার গ্রুপে ইংরেজীতে কথা বলত তখন আমি অনেক কিছুই বুজতাম না তাদের মেসেজ এর। তখন এক বন্ধুর কাছে মুঞ্জারিন আপুর এই বই এর কথা জানতে পারলাম এবং দেরি না করে দ্রুতই বইটি কিনে ফেললাম এবং এখন আমিও ম্যাসাঞ্জার ইংরেজীতে কথা বলতে পার এবং অনেক সুন্দর করে গুছিয়ে কথা বলতে পারি।

"আমি সাব্বির হোসেন, ঠাকুরগাঁও থেকে" ১। প্রথমত ডেলিভারি খুবই তাড়াতাড়ি পাওয়া যায়। ২। বই এর কালার খুবই সুন্দর। ৩। বই গুলো আকারে ছোট ডাইরির মত। ৪। বই এর পাতাগুলো অরিজিলান। ৫। প্রত্যেকটা বিষয় চিত্র দিয়ে বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছে। ৬। মূল পয়েন্ট গুলো মার্ক করা আছে। ৭। এবং অনেক উদারণ থাকায় সহজে বুঝা যায়। আমি বইগুলো পড়া শুরু করেছি এবং প্র্যাক্টিসও করছি ইনশাআল্লাহ আমিও কথা বলবো ইংলিশে। এই বইগুলো আমাদের মত ছোট ছোট গ্রামের ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের জন্য এটা অনের বড় পাওয়া। কারণ বাড়িতে শিক্ষক রেখে পড়ার মত সামর্থ আমাদের থাকেনা। পরিশেষে, রকমারি ডট কম এবং লেখককে অনেক ধন্যবাদ ।

বইটি ভাগ্নিকে উপহার দিলাম। অসাধারন বই। কার্টের মাধ্যমে কিছু কিছু জটিল শব্দ যা কখন ব্যাবহার করতাম না সেটাও খুব সহজে উপস্থাপন করা হইসে। ইংলিশ শিখার এই বড় সমস্যা এই ভকেবুলারি। আর ভকেবুলারি এর খুব সহজে শিখার জন্য এই বই। বই ধরেই বুঝা যায় কতটা পরিশ্রম আছে এই বইটির পিছনে। বই- ১০/১০ লেখক- ১০/১০

স্কুল থেকে শুরু করে প্রাইভেট আগে সব জায়গায় স্যাররা ইংরিজিকে যেভাবে কঠিন বোঝাত আমি মনে করতাম যে ইংরেজীতে কথা বলা বা শেখা আমার দ্বারা সম্ভব না। কিন্তু একদিন আমার এক বন্ধু আমাকে রবি 10MS সবার জন্য Vocabulary বইটি কিনে ফেললাম । আর এখন আমি যেমনভাবে বাংলা বলতে পারি ঠিক সেইমতই ইংরেজিতেও কথা বলতে পারি

তেমন একটা উপকারী কোনো বই না এটা। পুরোপুরি আশাহত হতেছি। "মুখস্থ করা ছাড়াই Vocabulary শিখুন" "সবার জন্য Vocabulary" ইত্যাদি চাটুকার বিজ্ঞাপনে বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে শুধু শুধু টাকা নষ্ট করেছি।

বইটি পড়ার পর বুঝতে পারলাম আসলে ইংরেজী কে ভয় পাওয়ার কিছুই নেই বরং এটা একটা মজার বিষয় বইটি। পড়ার পর আমি এখন ইংরেজীতে কথাগুলো গুছিয়ে বলতে শিখেছি পাশাপাশি শিখেছি কিভাবে স্মার্ট ইংরেজি শব্দ ব্যবহার করতে হয়। আমার মতে যে এই বইটি পরবে না সে আসলে অনেক কিছু শেখা থেকে বঞ্চিত হবে

আসসালামু আলাইকুম। আমি মোঃ সাব্বির আহমেদ শিক্ষার্থী পাবনা বিজ্ঞান ওপ্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।কিছুদিন আগে মুনজারিন শহীদের ঘরে বসে স্পোকেন ইংলিশ এবং সবার জন্য ভোকাবুলারি বইটি রকমারি থেকে অর্ডার করেছিলাম আলহামদুলিল্লাহ অর্ডার করার পর নিদিষ্ট তারিখের মধ্যে আমার অর্ডারকৃত বই রাজশাহী Express এর মাধ্যমে ডেলিভারি পেয়েছি।বইটি হাতে পাওয়ার পরে একটি বইয়ের কিছু অংশ ছেড়া পেয়েছিলাম।রকমারিতে অভিযোগ করার পরে অল্প কিছুদিনের ভিতরে নতুন ফ্রেশ বই পাঠিয়ে দিয়েছে।ধন্যবাদ রকমারিকে। মাধ্যমে ডেলিভারি পেয়েছি।

সত্যি, এক কথায় অসাধারণ একটি বই। একটি অবস্থা অথবা স্থান বিবেচনা করে তার প্রেক্ষিতে কতগুলো শব্দ ধারণা করা যায় তার প্রায় সবই আছে এখানে। অনেক নতুন নতুন শব্দও দেখেছি যা আগে দেখিনি! বাংলাদেশের বাজারে এরকম বইয়ের আসলেই অনেক অভাব!

আমি নতুন চাকরিতে join করার পর, হুট করে একদিন আমার একজন senior অনেক কিছু নিয়েই প্রশ্ন করল! সে আবার বাংলাদেশি ছিলেন না foreigner ছিলেন। আমার ইংলিশের vocabulary তেমন একটা ভালো নাহ থাকায় বড্ড বিপাকে পরতে হয়েছিল সেদিন। কিন্তু পরে একদিন তিনিই আমাকে মুনজেরিন শহীদ আপুর লেখা "সবার জন্য vocabulary" বইটি এক official party-তে উপহার দিলেন। এবং!! না বললেই নয় বইটি পরে আলহামদুলিল্লাহ আমি অনেক উপকৃত হয়েছি! চারপাশে এত এত শব্দ আমাদের, এত এত শব্দের অর্থ! কিভাবে মনে রাখা যায় এত শব্দ। এই সমস্যা থেকে উদ্ধার করার উপায় " সবার জন্য Vocabulary " বইটি। আশা করছি নতুন কিছু শেখার এই যাত্রা বেশ আনন্দের হবে।

ভেবেছিলাম আমি এই বিতর্কে যোগ দেবো না। কিন্তু অধ্যাপক কামরুল হাসান মামুনের পোস্ট পড়ে একটু ঢুঁ মেরেছিলাম রকমারি ডটকমে, এবং ক্লিক করেছিলাম মুনজেরিন শহীদের 'সবার জন্য Vocabulary' বইয়ে। আমার ধারণা ছিলো— এটি হয়তো ইংরেজি ভোকাবুলারির কোনো চমৎকার বাংলা সংকলন, যা পড়ে আমাদের ইংরেজি না-জানা তরুণেরা উপকৃত হবে। আমাকে অবাক করে দিয়ে, বইটির প্রথম বাক্যটিই শুরু হয়েছে ভুল ইংরেজি দিয়ে! মুনজেরিন লিখেছেন: "Having warm tea by the tea cart (চা বহন করার ছোট গাড়ি) beside my university was my favourite past time" কিন্তু past time নয়, শব্দটি হবে pastime, যার অর্থ হলো অবসর সময় বা অবসর সময় কাটানোর উপায়। আর beside my university কী জিনিস? ইউনিভার্সিটি কি কোনো ছোট দোকান বা বয়ামের সমান যে এটির beside-এ চায়ের ফেরিওয়ালা বসেন? আর যে-ইংরেজিতে বাক্যটি লিখা হয়েছে, সেগুলোকে বলা হয় এলিয়েন ইংলিশ। এ ধরণের ভুতুড়ে ইংলিশ কোনো ইংলিশ স্পিকিং কান্ট্রিতে আপনি পাবেন না, এবং এরকম ইংরেজি বাক্যে কথা বললে লোকজন আপনার দিকে হা করে তাকিয়ে থাকবে। রবীন্দ্রনাথ মোটামুটি ভালো ইংরেজি লিখতেন, কিন্তু তারপরও তিনি যখন গীতাঞ্জলি অনুবাদ করে ইয়েটসের কাছে পাঠিয়েছিলেন, তখন ইয়েটস বলেছিলেন— হায় হায়, এই এলিয়েন ইংলিশ আমি নোবেল কমিটির কাছে কীভাবে পাঠাবো, আর প্রকাশকই বা কীভাবে ছাপাবেন। পরবর্তীতে তিনি হাড়ভাঙ্গা পরিশ্রম করে রবীন্দ্রনাথের এলিয়েন ইংলিশকে লিটারারি ইংলিশে রূপদান করেছিলেন। গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় হলো, মুনজেরিন তার বইয়ের প্রথম চ্যাপ্টারটির নাম দিয়েছেন 'চায়ের টংয়ে ব্যবহৃত কিছু শব্দ'। এ চ্যাপ্টারে তিনি এলিয়েন ইংলিশে যে অনুচ্ছেদটি রচনা করেছেন, সেখান থেকে মাত্র দশটি শব্দ বাছাই করে তাদের বাংলা অর্থ লিখেছেন। একটু খেয়াল করলেই দেখা যাবে, অনুচ্ছেদটিতে pour, voila, এবং concoction-এর মতো কৌতুহলোদ্দীপক শব্দ রয়েছে, যেগুলোর অর্থ না জানলে একজন নবিশ বাংরেজের পক্ষে অনুচ্ছেদটি পাঠ করা সম্ভব হবে না। কিন্তু মুনজেরিন সেদিকে কোনো নজরই দেন নি। তিনি সম্ভবত, বইয়ের মানের চেয়ে পৃষ্ঠা সংখ্যা বাড়ানোর দিকেই বেশি মনযোগ দিয়েছেন। সময় যখন নষ্ট করেছি, তখন আরেকটি ব্যাপার না বললেই নয়। মুনজেরিন এই ছোট অনুচ্ছেদটির দুই জায়গায় he'd এবং I'd ফর্মের কন্ট্রাকশন ব্যবহার করেছেন। এখন এই he'd কি He had এর কন্ট্রাকশন না কি He would এর? এবং I'd কি I had এর কন্ট্রাকশন না কি I would এর? সাধারণত বাক্যের শেষাংশ পড়লে এবং ক্রিয়াপদের বিন্যাস লক্ষ করলে এটি সহজেই বুঝা যায়, কিন্তু মুনজেরিনের যারা টার্গেট পাঠক তারা এটি বুঝবে না বলেই আমার ধারণা। বিশেষ করে তার I'd এর কন্ট্রাকশনটি আমি নিজেই বুঝতে পারি নি (আমি জেমস জয়েস পড়া মানুষ), কারণ তিনি ওই বাক্যে even drink এবং which was ব্যবহার করে গন্ডগোল পাকিয়ে ফেলেছেন (I'd = I had হলে drink হওয়ার কথা নয়, এবং I'd= I would হলে which was হওয়ার কথা নয়)। আর Stool শব্দটির অর্থ যে শুধু বসার টুল বা বেরেঞ্চি নয়, তাও মুনজেরিনের পরিষ্কার করা উচিত ছিলো। কারণ, Stool-এর বহুল প্রচলিত অর্থ হলো— পায়খানা বা বিষ্ঠা। এই যে দেখুন আরেকটা কাণ্ড, Stool-এর 'কাছাকাছি অর্থের শব্দ' Tool হয় কীভাবে? Stool এবং Tool কি একই জিনিস? যেখানে একটি হলো পায়খানা অথবা বসার পিড়ি, এবং আরেকটি হলো যন্ত্রপাতি বা মেশিনারি, সেখানে কোন পাগল এ দুটিকে কাছাকাছি অর্থের শব্দ ভাববে? একই কথা প্রযোজ্য Condensed milk আর Evaporated milk-এর ক্ষেত্রে। মুনজেরিনের এ ছোট অনুচ্ছেদই আমার যে-সময় নষ্ট করেছে, বাকি অনুচ্ছেদগুলো পড়ার আর সাহস পাচ্ছি না। এ সময়ে আমি একটি কবিতা লিখতে পারতাম। অধ্যাপক কামরুল হাসান মামুন সঠিক কাজটিই করেছেন। এগুলো হলো ইংরেজি শেখার বামন বই, যেগুলোর প্রধান কাজ বিভ্রান্ত তরুণদের হাত থেকে পয়সা হাতিয়ে নেয়া। মুনজেরিন একটি ভালো বই লিখলে আমার চেয়ে অধিক খুশি আর কেউ হতো না। আর এসব বইকে বলা হয় ভোকেশনাল বই। বই বলতে যা বুঝায়, এগুলো কিন্তু তা নয়। এ নিয়ে আরেকদিন আলোচনা করবো। কোনো দেশে রাজনীতিকদের চরিত্র নির্ধারিত হয় ভোটারদের চরিত্র দ্বারা, এবং লেখকদের চরিত্র নির্ধারিত হয় পাঠকদের চরিত্র দ্বারা। আমাদের পাঠক যে-মানের, লেখকও সে-মানেরই হবে। — মহিউদ্দিন মোহাম্মদ

অসাধারণ একটা বই আজ পর্যন্ত এ-ই রকম বই কোথাও প্রকাশ করা দেখি নি এতো সহজ করে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে বইটি যা বলে বুঝানো যাবে না কখনো। ?Best of luck মুনজেরিন শাহিদ আপু?

আমার পড়ার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে খারাপ বই এইটা। নাম শুনেই কিনতে যাবেন না আগে যাচাই করে দেখুন।বাঙ্গালি অন্ধের মতো বিশ্বাস করে কিছু বইয়ের লেখক আছে ব্যবসা করে।এই লেখকের থেকে বিরত থাকা মঙ্গল জনক হবে।

মনে হচ্ছে আমার মতোই অনেকে ১০ মিনিট স্কুলের নাম দেখে কিনেছে.. যদি সত্যিই ভোকাবুলারি শেখার ইচ্ছা থাকে তবে অনেক ভালো বই আছে.. Not so good.. মনে হচ্ছিলো ভিডিওর স্লাইডগুলোই কেউ যেন বই এ প্রিন্ট করে দিয়েছে.. Totally disappointed.. Now it’s upon to you either you buy it or not.. but i will not suggest it

আমাদের ইংলিশ শেখার ক্ষেত্রে আমাদের সবচেয়ে বড় প্রতিবন্ধকতা হয়ে দাঁড়ায় Vocabulary কম জানা। পাশাপাশি না বুঝে মুখস্থ করার চেষ্টা থেকে Vocabulary শেখার প্রক্রিয়াটাই আমাদের কাছে পরিণত হয় এক গোলকধাঁধায়। ইংরেজিতে সাবলীল ভাবে কথা বলার স্বপ্ন আমরা কে না দেখি? -নিশ্চয়ই। আর সাবলীল ইংলিশে কথা বলা থেকে শুরু করে প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে ইংরেজিতে দক্ষ হয়ে ওঠার জন্য প্রয়োজন হয় প্রচুর শব্দ জানা এবং সেগুলোর যথাপোযুক্ত ব্যবহার। আর তাই তো আমাদের Vocabulary শেখার কোনো বিকল্প নেই৷ সেক্ষেত্রে বলব, বইটি দারুণ ভুমিকা রাখবে। বিশেষ করে স্পোকেন ইংলিশ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ভর্তি পরীক্ষা কিংবা প্রতিযোগিতামূলক বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষা, IELTS পরীক্ষা অথবা ফ্রি হ্যান্ড রাইটিং - Vocabulary এর দরকার পড়ে প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে। আর আমরাও Vocabulary শিখতে উঠে পড়ে লেগে যাই মুখস্থ করতে। ফলাফল, অল্পদিনেই ত্যাক্ত বিরক্ত হয়ে আমরা Vocabulary শেখার হাল ছেড়ে দিই। অথচ আমাদের Vocabulary শেখার পদ্ধতিটিই হয়তো ভুল! আর এ ক্ষেত্রে মুনজেরিন আপুর বইটি আমাদের দারুণ সহয়তা করেছে। Vocabulary শেখাকে আরও মজার ও প্রাণবন্ত করে তুলতে সহয়তা করছে বইটি। আর তাই তো, Vocabulary শেখাকে আরও কার্যকর ও আকর্ষণীয় করে তুলতে পড়ুন বইটি। বইটিতে থাকছে: ১. মুখস্থ না করে বুঝে বুঝে Vocabulary শেখার দুর্দান্ত সব টেকনিক। ২. ছবির মাধ্যমে নতুন শব্দের অর্থ ও ব্যবহার শেখার সুযোগ। ৩. বাস্তব পরিস্থিতিতে Vocabulary ব্যবহারের উপায়।৪. বাংলা অনুবাদের মাধ্যমে Vocabulary মনে রাখার শর্টকাট সব টেকনিক। ৫. বহুল ব্যবহৃত ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ১৮০০ শব্দ। Vocabulary শিখে নিজের ইংরেজির দক্ষতাকে বাড়িয়ে নিতে পড়ুন বইটি। বই: সবার জন্য Vocabulary লেখক: মুনজেরিন শহিদ প্রকাশক: তাম্রলিপি

BEST BOOK TO LEARN VOCABULARY! প্রথম কয়েকপেজ পড়লেই বুঝা যায় এটি কত অসাধারণ বই। রেটিং - ১০/১০। এখানে কার্ড আকারে অনেকগুলো শব্দের সেট দেয়া আছে যা নিঃসন্দেহে ভোকাবুলারি শেখার জন্য একটি অনন্য পদ্ধতি 3 আশা করি মুনজেরিন আপু এভাবে আমাদের ভালো ভালো বই উপহার দিতে থাকবে!
