In Bangladesh's perspective, it's quite hard to be an entrepreneur, coming out from the family barrier, because of our old-fashioned trend to be a job holder. Conversely, these who have kicked off their startups really deserve acclaim. But the way isn't so easy and short. This is all, we know, that the most challenges every entrepreneur faces in this time. The book named ‘Youth Entrepreneurship: How to start with…?’ written by Syed Rabius Shams perhaps one of the best books written on the 'hazardous time' of entrepreneurs as guidance, thanks to him for helping new entrepreneurs. In the very first of the book he has showed how one should tune ideas and bring forth in the reality. Gradually the book has described how entrepreneurs will established their startups and faces all the challenges. As funding is the key challenges to the new entrepreneurs, it guided all the potential and right way of funding. Step by step, promoting products using various media, especially promoting through media at free of cost, was discussed elaborately. And through the rest pages of the book, the author, who is also a freelance journalist and entrepreneurs, has guided extremely captivating way to the entrepreneurs that he learned in his overall journey of his entrepreneur life. Many comments of different elite people and some emerging entrepreneurs are included in this book, which will be seemed very helpful for starting new ventures. I hope the author of this book will come up with its second edition as quickly as possible.

উদ্যাক্তা হতে হলে চাপ নিতেই হবে। বাঙ্গালী হিসেবেই কিনা জানি না আমরা সেই চাপটা নিতে চাই না। তাই আমাদের সম্ভাব্য সকল চাপ জানতে বইটা বেশ উপকারী। দেশীয় প্রেক্ষাপটে রচিত। ইংরেজির ক্ষেত্রে আরও একটু ভালো এডিটিং করা যেত পারতো!

Book on youth entrepreneurship penned -------------------------------------------------- A book on entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem development, which focuses on the Bangladeshi prospective youth entrepreneurs, has been unveiled. The book titled ‘Youth Entrepreneurship: how to start with …? 'was launched in association with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, BRAC University at a programme at the GDLN Centre of BRACU on April 26, 2017. Eminent Economist Dr AB Mirza Md Azizul Islam, also a former adviser of the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh for the ministries of Finance, Planning, and Posts & Telecommunications, attended the event as the chief guest and unveiled the book, while Asif Mahmood, founder and chairman of ADN Group, attended as the programme as the guest of honour. Syed Rabius Shams, a young entrepreneur and freelance Journalist who authored and published the book, discussed on how to tune ideas, sources of funding, promoting a startup, and overcoming the obstacles ahead of an entrepreneurial journey in his writings through real-life examples of growing businesses. Shams also came up with innovative ideas in addition to public communication activities to enable the readers understand how ideas are generated and can be implemented effectively. The book also displays the comportment expected of students and young startup leaders to comply with the objective of ‘creating jobs through promoting entrepreneurship’. The author who is a PR Strategist and founder of NewsfeedPR has written extensively in various publications on this issue at home and on abroad and the book has come as a compendium of those writings. Comments from distinguished academicians, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and development activists along with articles from five aspiring writers have also been included in the book. “Optimism, determination and innovation are crucial for youth entrepreneurship, which can be found from the book,” said Dr Azizul Islam in the cover unveiling programme of the inimitable manuscript on entrepreneurship. “Such books should be used as academic references in universities and institutions. I believe more writers will come forward to unveil the entrepreneurial spirit of Bangladesh,” he added. Itrat Husain, council member and former president of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB); Razib Ahmed, president of E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB); Sanjana Farid, regional head (Asia & Asia Pacific) of Instant Cash FZE; AZM Saifuddin Saif, managing director of Paper Rhyme Advertising Ltd; Tania Wahab, proprietor of Tan and managing partner of Karigar; and Kazi Sazedur Rahman, proprietor of KPC Paper Cup, were also present at the programme as special guests.
